Jamie Walsh is a dedicated multi species angler with a lifelong passion for fishing that began at a very young age. Introduced to the sport by his father and uncle, he spent countless hours fishing every week, targeting trout and salmon throughout the summer months and switching his focus to pike during the winter. These early experiences laid strong foundations in both technique and respect for the sport. Over the years, he developed into a confident and capable angler, achieving success in several local pike competitions. Salmon fishing remains his favourite discipline, as he often says, it’s hard to beat the fight of a spring salmon , pure power. In 2025 he landed his personal best salmon measuring 92cm and weighing 20lb. In recent seasons, his focus has expanded heavily into modern sea bass fishing. Through dedication, time on the water, and refined lure techniques, he achieved another milestone in 2025 with a personal best sea bass of 80cm and 12lb.
