For the past 40 years Dietmar Isaiasch has intensively fished for pike, zander, perch, and more. As a result, he is one of the few German anglers known beyond the countries borders. Whether from the shore or a boat, there is no technique he hasn't tried. His career as a professional angler began during his studies as a lure designer, and as a specialist author at 15 different fishing magazines worldwide, focusing on modern predator fishing. He has written several books and authored various special issues. On TV, he has enriched the programs of Seasons and Terranova with his expertise in predator fishing, and has also released numerous DVDs. He is constantly engaged in developing innovations, and founded the first pure predator fishing magazine, Der Raubfisch, in Germany (now at Paul Parey), as well as De Roofvis in the Netherlands. He is always on the lookout for new techniques and lures to widen the appeal of this exciting style of fishing. As a certified marketing expert and product developer, he has been involved in the creation of numerous successful lures and rods for Westin. His greatest accolade to date was winning the first Predator Fishing Team World Championship in 2002, together with his wife Carmen.
